I think the best way to describe JAH SOUL in my inside opinion is... eight people who really enjoy hanging' out with each other, playing music, and having a good time doing it.
Dayton, Ohio has a rich history of music, FUNK music! The good time sounds that get ya' through your day and put a lil' slide in your stride. So it feels really good to add to that local heritage by getting people to the dance floor to groove their cares away.
JAH SOUL's overall sound is a combination of styles, Reggae, Soul, Funk & Disco. Mixing it up with sexy & well crafted, catchy original music and just enough covers to keep the party going' in a funky way~ like Sly & the Family Stone, Prince, Blondie & Madonna.
JAH SOUL has been bringing the positive vibe since January 2011.
