Born August 23rd, 1985 in Minneapolis, MN Jai Blizz began to write songs at the age of 12 and perform at 15. Due to legal troubles beginning in his teens he had a few minor setbacks regarding his career. After being released from prison he started by pushing cd’s by hand in Minneapolis then going city to city with his music in 2008-09. He started his own label in 2012 (Thurty Below), learning the business and putting himself on the same major platforms as all other artists independently. He released his 1st mixtape in 2008 “4 Da Luv of Da Minne” followed by several others but it wasn’t until 2016 he released his debut album “The Induction”. In 2017 he released his 2nd and 3rd albums “Minneapolis” and “Blackout”. Jai Blizz managed to get a Vevo channel, Pandora station, get verified on all sites on his own which helped build his fan base and solidify his music career as a professional recording artist. Throughout the years he has participated in several music events across the US to start his career beginning with open mics, showcases, and battles as well which lead to open more doors for him in the music industry while learning the business. Not only has he pushed and funded his own career he has also recruited and released other artists under Thurty Below consisting of different genres.
