Bio
After living in New York City for ten years, Jaime Pannone relocated to Philadelphia in the summer of 2007 to continue her music career. She quickly established herself on the local music scene by frequenting open mics at World Cafe Live, Fergie's, Lickety Split, and Crossroads Coffee House. In her short time in Philadelphia, she has been featured on Comcast's Battle of the Bands, has performed at the legendary North Star Bar, and was named World Cafe Live's August standout performer of the month. In January 2009, Jaime will join 11 other standout performers of 2008 on World Cafe's mainstage to compete in their annual showcase. Her songwriting is a combination of her experiences living in the city and her interpretations of the current political landscape. In each song she tries to connect her personal relationships to universal struggles and the world around her. Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, and the hundreds of local artists she has met along the way continue to be her greatest muscial influences.
