Jake Kloefkorn

Hey I'm Jake Kloefkorn. I was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska and that's where my music roots from. If you ain't from here, you might be surprised to know that there's a whole lot more than just corn rows and dirt roads to write about. I started writing in 2013, a year before I had even thought about picking up a guitar. Since then I keep being told that I write hard hitting lyrics that pack a punch. I try to bring something original and different to every song.

I started performing locally in 2016 where I cut my teeth at open mics and bonfires till I became good enough to land some opening spots for bigger Nebraska artists such as Dylan Bloom and Emmet Bower. From there I started running my own show where we regularly filled the Night Owl Pub, a local dive in town. That helped build my reputation around the state and since then I have landed opening spots for national acts such as Russell Dickerson and High Valley at some of the area's most popular venues.

The biggest influences toward my sound and writing are Brantley Gilbert, Luke Combs, Eric Church, and Jon Langston. With my last release "Tangled in the Chains" I captured the modern country-rock feel that's fueled my music from the start. I look to continue that in the rest of my music.

From that release, I also grew my facebook page to over 11000 followers and counting. It also helped fuel my performance to bring in fans everywhere I have performed since. With the success I've seen in my first two years, I'm excited for what opportunities I'll get to take on next.
