Born in Kansas City, Jake Lacqey is a preoccupied 23 year old Singer/Songwriter with a diverse sound. Jake has a musical styling that has developed from alternative rock, blues, and some jazz to blend into distinctive songs. His Influences have developed from all stages of life but are most intensely generated by the people in his inner circle, the emotional roller coaster life throws at us, and the surroundings in which he’s set. The Midwest is known for its humility and passionate outlook on life, this fuels his music. Lacquey’s style has developed uniquely to himself and his region through extensive self-study. Much mirroring his hometown, traits of deep passion, emotion, and humility are on full display in his music.
