Biography

Jake Brennan's upcoming album was recorded at Camp Street Studios with Paul Kolderie and Adam Taylor. The new recordings feature The Killers’ “Jenny Was a Friend on Mine” covered with a raw simplicity reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen’s classic Nebraska. Brennan’s music is as diverse and impressive as the musicians he has played with (including John Doe and Soul Asylum) and he’s heavily influenced by both legendary “Elvii”- Costello and Presley. In Late August, Jake’s song “What You’re Doing” was featured on the season finale of the FX hit series “Rescue Me”. The week prior, the drama (co-created by and starring Dennis Leary) featured Brennan’s song “Drive Tonight”.
