If you enjoy thoughtless pop music, Jakob Martin is not for you. Currently one of the fastest growing underground artists on the West Coast, Martin is best known for his raw musical style and lyrical mastery.
Don’t call him a singer/songwriter, and he doesn’t like to be pinned as a folk artist either. He calls himself a concert poet, and comes from a family of accomplished poets.
Martin engages audiences with music, poetry, humor, and personal stories from his two years touring the United States, where he has performed over 500 concerts.
