There is a sound echoing through the Christian indie music scene. A sound that stays fresh while knowing its roots. A sound thats dynamic and stirring. It is the sound of Jakobs Night.
At its heart, Jakobs Night is a rock band. But throw clever pop, spirited funk, and heartfelt gospel influences with passionate lyricism into the mix and you have something more - a true feast for the senses together with a lively stage show sure to stir the soul! With music that explores the diverse creativity of the Almighty God - from the power of rolling thunder to the intimacy of His still small voice and many shades in between - Jakobs Night is inspiring audiences with energetic musical finesse and beautifully tight vocal harmonies.
What began as a humble college dorm room ministry is now spreading to thousands of teens and young adults from the nations capital, along the shores of the Atlantic to the heart of the United States and beyond. Since the band's inception, Jakob's Night has been heard on radio stations around the country and has had the opportunity to share the stage with such major and diverse acts as the Katinas, Nate Sallie, Warren Barfield (He'll be at "Risenfest, so after next month, it will be true. Also, I didnt know if I should have mentioned GS Megaphone). Their latest project, Epic Journey, was produced by Dove-award winner Barry Blair and is receiving critical acclaim. Jakobs Night is on the up yall!!!
