Bio
The Trinidadian born R&B sensation: Miss Jamelia Browne is an artist with a tremendous voice. The R&B sensation has a gift of appealing to all music genres, a range of different ages, gender, and cultures. She is also able to retain her R&B roots, at the same time, embracing pop, hip hop, reggae and rock, placing her in the urban category of music. Her live Events have included performing at festivals in Trinidad, St. Louis, Queens, New Jersey, Buffalo New York, etc. The R&B sensation was also featured as a special appearance back in 2006 at the first ever worlds aids awareness tour along side DJ Poun, Jay zs official 40/40 club DJ who was spinning on the 1 & 2s, and Brooklyns own Rapper Magz. The tour was launched at Martin Luther King High School in New York. As of now, Miss Browne is still doing her thing recording , and is working with a vast roster of talented writers and producers, and will shortly be releasing her next long awaited single. A word from the artist her self: What can I say? I'm currently enrolled in college, engaged in human services, and I compose music. I write what I live, sing what I feel and express whats within me. I'm not perfect, nor am I flawed. I'm just a regular individual thats trying to take music to another level. Its not hard to recognize real. Like Kevin Liles mentioned in "Make it Happen", GET EDUCATED: "Don't chase a degree just because you think its part of a formula for success. Do it with purpose. Be guided by your own will for success, not your parents' or other peoples' expectations or desires." I was inspired by his words, because in this book he mentioned a couple of things that applied to my life and I ran with it. You live and you learn. I'm learning everyday.
