James Marrin and the Midnight Riders are a gritty, bluesy, high energy rock n roll band reminiscent of the 70’s and 80’s rock dream brought back to life. Hailing from the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). The band consists of Owen Bulger on Bass, keys, and backing vocals - Chris King on drums and backing vocals, and James Marrin on Lead Guitar, and Lead vocals. They have been playing together for about a year and have played at Youth Day
Toronto, NXNE Toronto, in clubs, private parties, many local festivals, and had a full house to their debut EP Release party at the Hideout in Toronto.
Influences:
Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, and Led Zeppelin.
Many people say James Marrin’s voice sounds like Axl Rose and Geddy Lee with guitar licks like Slash and Randy Rhoads.
