"Original musicians in Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties produced a veritable deluge of amazing CDs and EPs during 2011. Just to give an idea of how much indie talent resides here, following is a month-by-month roundup of (most of) our uber-productive artists and their accompanying releases...May: To Sleep, To Dream (“Yellow Ladder,” EP); Preston Beebe (“Glisten”); Barry Johnson (“Tenacious Grace,” EP); and James Cademan (“Unplugged and Away,” EP)." - - Dawn Scire, Herald Tribune (Dec 27, 2011)

"On the up-and-coming one-year anniversary of the release of his single, “You're Beautiful Today (Erin's Song)," Sarasota Singer/Songwriter, James Cademan has announced that he will be donating all proceeds made from the download sales of the song to a children’s charity." - - Keith Wilkins, Examiner.com (Dec 12, 2011)

"That was the greatest music fest we've ever had on the Front Porch of the Bidwell House yesterday. Thank you soooo much for coming and being a part of it." - - Jane Kirschner, Historical Society of Sarasota County (Nov 11, 2011)

James released his EP, “Unplugged and Away”, on May 10th, 2011. “Unplugged and Away” is an unplugged and acoustic EP of five of James’ most popular songs. One of the songs from the album, “Game of Fate”, has had over 1000 plays in over 35 countries on Jango.com, just since August 17th, 2011. Two other songs from the album, "Swingin' at Shadows" and "Another Day", are currently in regular airplay rotation on ButterfliesRadio.com. “Unplugged and Away” is currently available at Best Buy stores, BestBuy.com, Fogt’s Gulf-Coast Music Center and Five Points Collective in Sarasota, as well as on iTunes, Amazon.com, and at JamesCademan.com." - - Keith Wilkins, Examiner (Sep 07, 2011)

"I was first introduced to Cademan when he showed up to one of the Press Kit Parties I held at the HuB Incubator a few months back. I remember the crowd cheering in approval after he got on the mic to reveal that he had recently quit his day job to focus on a music career. Since that performance, Cademan has continued to build a presence in the local music scene, opening for local rockers Pariah for the third time at Flying Dog Café this past Tuesday. That show also marked another musical accomplishment for Cademan — the official CD release of his debut EP “Unplugged and Away,” which he had been striving to complete for over a year." - - Tim Sukits, Ticket Sarasota (May 19, 2011)
