James Faron

James Faron

BandRockAlternative

Rock N Roll with a twang. Crossing genres with rock, country and British beats, keeping it loud and proud.

Biography

Based out of Austin, Texas, Faron's musical roots are in country and Americana with a strong mix of British rock. Faron's music may reflect the sounds of The Rolling Stones, Faces, Bottle Rockets, Georgia Satellites and Tom Petty, he has incorporated these styles into his own brand of roadhouse rock & roll with incisive provocative songwriting supported by twanging riff driven rock. Faron creates an experience all his own.

In late 2004 Faron started a self imposed 2 year time-out to re-evaluate what his next step should be. His last CD had two hits, “Lucky Me” and “This Town” both had a fair amount of airplay and he won best male singer of 2003 from My Texas Music and the CD gained good reviews from reviewers all around the globe. But this time around he wanted to take a different direction both musically and lyrically with his experience with rock, punk and country. He has now incorporated those sounds into a cohesive mixture that is all Faron.
