James Gadon is a Songwriter, Musician, Composer and Producer from Toronto. He writes, records and performs both independently and with the Toronto rock band, "The Hollowbodies". In 2010, James' song "Profit Man" was a Top 5 Ontario Finalist in the CBC Radio 3 David Suzuki Songwriting Contest Playlist For The Planet. In 2012, James and The Hollowbodies released their debut album to a capacity crowd at Toronto's Drake Hotel and his song and video "Town Without a Name" was chosen as 1 of 8 nationwide for The 2013 Boots and Hearts Music Festival Emerging Artist Showcase. James has shared festival bills in the past with artists such as Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock, and is releasing a second album with The Hollowbodies in 2015.

In 2013, James started combining his love of music and cinema by writing for the screen. He scored, "Reelside" a documentary about renowned photographer Caitlin Cronenberg (directed by Sarah Gadon) and will be airing on The Movie Network and Movie Central. He also appeared in his first film during the fall of 2013, performing in The National Screen Institute Film, "Pretend We're Kissing" starring Zoe Kravitz.
