"James Guilmartin is an intense performer who sings and plays guitar with mountains of passion and conviction. His solo offering "The Breadcrumb Trail"was a worthy forerunner to band versions of "Break The Spell"and "All The Dogs Are Howling Their Own Tune". Performing for 8 years and over 180 gigs played this year so far , both solo and with Mark O'Connor and Dave Griffin of New Secret Weapon, to pretty nice reviews "the performance takes you to places most acts only dream of( jackie hayden, hotpress)" :namely The Electric Picnic, the Knockanstockan Festival, joining 'Bands On The Run' in London, Music Medium Live collective down in Cork and Kilkenny and recently returning from Berlin, Germany ,James has returned for the completetion of the seminal debut album 'Spirit of Haum'.
