Bio
James Herring, a singer/songwriter from the Midlands, merges his passion for rock and love for folk and country into his acoustic driven songs.
"His voice encapsulates the tender vulnerability of Athlete's Joel Pott meeting the rugged, soulfulness of Marcus Mumford. His ethereal voice carrying his delicate lyricism transports you into his world"
Andy Townsend, Cross Rhythms
The end of 2011 marked the launch of his solo career with his debut EP 'A Place To Call Home' being released to the world. While a new release looms, James currently enjoys traveling the country performing by himself or backed up by his band.
James' music is written from the heat of trials to the heights of joy. Asking questions and answering others, he aspires to take listeners on a journey of hope and happiness and invites all to share in his take on life. His music is inspired by artists such as Newton Faulkner, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard and Kings Of Leon.
