James is one of Phoenix' premiere performers performing for the NY Giants pre-Super Bowl Celebration, Wayne Newton's Make A Wish Event, and several other VIP engagements. Newton says "James is a Real Class Act." Arizona event coordinators know James' well and call upon him when the event calls for Class and extreme versatility.

James has a unique vocal quality that some say falls between the sounds of James Blunt and Rob Thomas. He recently teamed up with producer Billy Smiley of former chart topping Christian Rock group, White Heart to release the I Will Fly adult contemporary EP. Smiley has recorded and produced over 20 #1 hits. These songs and many of James' guitar instrumental are currently being considered for film and television placement. James has written several songs for corporate promotions with Pinnacle Premiums and is working with Rockin Kat Productions for upcoming films.

Performing since a teen, he has opened for names like Peter Frampton and was rocking on stages in Detroit to crowds of thousands at venues like Harpo's and State Theatre. In 2006, CSN Radio aired a live concert of his to over 1 million listeners and in 2007 his latest Latin Jazz guitar release, Song of The King, debuted for radio air play on Phoenix' KJZZ.

James' undeniable package of talents as a writer, singer, and instrumentalist; have placed him at the top of many industry insiders "Who to Watch " list.

Lyrics

I Will Fly

Written By: James Linton

It’s cold and damp in the cardboard tent
Beneath the overpass
Occasional meals from the windows of cars
Fall like Manna from Heaven

But I feel, like no one really cares
But I don’t mind, it’s just matter of time and….

I will fly to a mansion in the sky
And finally rest in paradise…

I see the disgust and sense the distrust
As you pass me by
It’s just a disguise do you realize
Who I am

But I feel, like no one really cares
But I don’t mind, it’s just matter of time and….

I will fly to a mansion in the sky
And finally rest in paradise…

I know that there’s still hope
I saw it in a little girls eyes
I guess she realized who I am
Or caught a glimpse of my wings

As I fly to a mansion in the sky
And finally rest in paradise
As I fly to be with the Most High
And finally rest in paradise

The Hole In Your Soul

Written By: James Linton & Billy Smiley

You were my Porcelain Doll but I let you fall
A promise made I could never keep
Has cut you far too deep
And I know that

I can’t fill the hole in your soul
With tender words and a dozen roses
I can’t fill the hole in your heart
But I wish I could mend the life that’s been torn apart

I wish that I had everything that you want
Lord knows that I’ve tried and tried to let go of my pride
Still I know that

I can’t fill the hole in your soul
With tender words and a dozen roses
I can’t fill the hole in your heart
But I wish I could mend the life that’s been torn apart
Or the Hole in your Soul

Tell me what you need if you know
I gave you my heart
And all of my soul cuz
I don’t want to let you go but

Madrid Mourning
