"Local Band Review"

Simple acoustic led arrangements blended with lyrical depth and catchy melodies make for a surprisingly mature musical sound for such a young band. The beautifully played strains of violin and cello and the boy-girl harmonies complement each other and draw you in, which makes for an intimate experience even in a crowded venue. Catchy yet original. Mellow yet not depressing. Contemplative yet uplifting.

The string arrangements provide a mellow harmony for ballads but boost and fill out the sound on the heavier tracks lending strength and depth to the Aquascene experience.

The combined youthful vigour and mature sound appeals to all ages and is not to be missed by any. You’ll walk away humming the tunes, wanting more and feeling uplifted. The Aquascene are soon to be your new favourite band." - Stephanie Anderson - H.I.E Representative
