"James musical style is a combination of Carlos Santana meets Stevie Ray Vaughan! Very soulful playing from an incredibly talented musician!" - Gordon Lightfoot… verbal quote
“Mann just released an incredible new CD of his own original music which you can hear at his website www.jamesmann.ca. I highly recommend giving it a listen, you'll be hooked from the opening track, Pouring Rain, featuring fantastic vocals by Harem Scarem's Darren James Smith. The CD crosses genres from blues rock, prog rock and country. ” - Steve Mallinson - T MAK World
I like the fresh sound of this CD - great guitar playing, great songs and arrangements. I'll certainly be playing on my show - the Blues Show on BishopFM.com (Sunday 6-8pm UK time) - syndicated on Kansas City Onliine Radio Playlists and more at my blog: http://thumbrella.blogspot.com

On the webside JAMES MANN is written that fire and passiona rde the best words to describe the guitar virtuosity of James. And who I am that I can that descibe better. But above that he also written the songs of the album “It’s about time”. Yes, that is true. It becomes really time, that more people hear about this bluesman. I will do that in Popjablues and in the future I will play more. This time I play “No way out”. A good song and lyriscs, because when you play the cd, you don’like to push the eject button. - Jan Nederveen - Radio 794

Bio
Fire and passion are the best words to describe the guitar virtuosity of James Mann. Picking up a guitar at age 16 and never putting down since, not even for a day, James has spent years playing live, writing and recording and most importantly, learning. Stylistically diverse, his love for music of all genres impacts his own songwriting style, from rock, pop, jazz, blues, progressive and instrumentals. He says “I always want to be challenged and don’t want to get stuck playing or writing a particular style of music. I want to have a diverse sound palate and use those colours to paint my music”.
Hope you like what you hear!
