Bio
James McSheffrey is a Singer/Songwriter based out of Dallas, TX. His sound is a blend of Texas Red Dirt Country and Alternative Rock. His latest release "Hand Me Down Heart" powered by the Heartland Americana feel of songs like the single "Hold On or Let Go", romance of ballads "Make Love To Me" and "When You Get Done" and rockers like "Redneck Dirty" takes listeners on a roller coaster ride of different songs crafted by an artist who not only writes songs out of talent, but a respect for the genres that inspire him.
In the last seven years, James has made a name for himself and carved a path playing many a small town cafe, roadside bar or cigar shop all the way from Dallas, TX along the Gulf Coast down to Southwest Florida. He is currently booking solo acoustic shows and events in support of "Hand Me Down Heart" and when he's not on the road, he has been in studio working on his next record due out Spring 2018.
