Jameson and the Sordid Seeds

Jameson and the Sordid Seeds create a unique blend of reggae, blues, soul and rock. Front man Brent Jameson put his struggles with addiction behind him several years ago and began pursuing music with a newfound vigor.

After giving a demo to a Las Vegas business man with industry connections, Jameson moved to the city to develop and perform his music. He played at several esteemed venues, including the Palms Casino, Hard Rock Café and House of Blues. After a record deal fell through in Vegas, Jameson returned to Montana to start over.

Upon his return to Whitefish, he banded together with local musicians Sean Cooksey on bass, Jared Fisher on keys and David "Sharks" Brabham on drums.

Jameson and the Sordid Seeds made its public debut in late 2009 and quickly developed a solid following. The live energy and original style of the band caught the eye of a local entrepreneur Brett Janiga, who created his own record label, Rockin' Soul Records, and signed the Sordid Seeds.

The band has recorded its first album, Two Shoes in Mary's Basement, and is in the process of relocating to Eugene, Oregon. Look for Jameson and the Sordid Seeds on tour this summer and in the August issue of Relix Magazine.
