Bio

Although I probably shouldn't be speaking in first person during a biography, I am going to anyway. It brings a more personal, one on one feel.

I have been playing and writing (as cliche as this may sound) all of my life, but it wasnt up until a certian point that I starting seeing things in brighter fashion. My "wake up call" came in the form of a coyote. To make this seem less peculiar, the coyote was in a dream of mine. He told me that he was the reason for all of my turmoil, but also a form of inspiration. He gave me the option to kill him, and rid myself of all my anxiety and depression, or let him stay and come to terms with my musical ability...I obviously let him stay.

The next day I was motivated beyond anything Ive felt before, and I began writing.

My musical influence comes from a strange mixture of characters. To name a few, Ben Harper, Nick Drake Radiohead, Feist, Common, Thelonious Monk, Marvin Gaye, and The Strokes.

Although I have not had many high profile gigs as a solo artist, I have played many shows with a past band. We were most known at "The Rave" Milwaukee. I am going on a short month long tour this upcoming summer, and I plan on coming home with many interesting stories and marks on my guitar.

When it comes to describing my music, I cannot. I dont know who to really compare it to, and I wouldnt want to compare it to anyone elses work. It is my own, and its roots lie within the imagery of places Ive been and things that ive seen. I write music that tries to show the listener what has impacted me, through melody.
