James Reeves

Not much to say... Been writing songs since 2004. I was terrible when I started and might still be just better than before. I joined a band called... something or other with a school mate but couldn't see eye to eye with him. Later I started THE NEXT with Matt Freeman and Russell Mathews but left that too for creative differences. After that decided to stop with bands and write solo. And now you know the rest of the story.

My music is eclectic but mainly falls under blues, folk, or rock n roll with the avant guarde here or there. I always say rock n roll for my music instead just rock since I think there is a big difference in the two. I believe in Bob Dylan, Yamanaka Sawao, and Jim Morrison. I soak up early Queen, The Band, The Beatles, The Who but also love Gorillaz, Dir en Grey, and Pain. I respect Jack White and Lou Reed. Metal Machine Music is a beast.
