James & the Readys are four guys and one girl who found each other throughout a network of friends and music.
They "got there first break" after being picked out of many to be apart of a commercial promoted by the James Ready Brewery.
After countless shows since the beginning they have recently released a "Self Titled EP" which they are all stoked about and is available for listening and free download!
They anticipate another either EP or Full Length by the end of Summer 2011.
They have played several shows in and around the GTA including the legendary Bovine Sex Club, Velvet Underground, and The Hard Luck Bar.
They are currently in the midst of booking a Spring Mini Tour that will consist of Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal and more! They have never been known to turn down a show or an opportunity to play anywhere.
They thrive and are influenced off the punk rock music of our friends and bands of which we have played alongside us!
