James Tudman

I grew up in the church and always had an interest in music. My mother was a pianist and my father was a guitarist. A lot of my inspiration came from the both of them. I am a self-taught musician by the guidance of God. My favorite instrument is the Hammond organ. I grew up listening to artists such as Twinkie Clark, who is a phenomenal organists in her own right. God has blessed me to participate in many workshops conducted by some of the top gospel artists of today, such as Hezekiah Walker, Kirk Franklin, and Darryl Blair.

My music is from the soul and guided by God. He gives me the inspiration to write and to play. I owe it all to him. I've been blessed to produce three projects to date and God has opened many doors as a result. In the summer of 2007, I was awarded the privilege of presenting a song in the Gospel Music Workshop of America new music seminar. This was a great honor because that association was founded by the late Reverend James Cleveland.
