When two original pioneers of the Jam music business decided to shut down the offfice, turn off the DJ mic, and reunite with life long friends to turn their rock and roll dreams into reality.
The Jamhogs were born
Jamhogs blend all backgrounds and various styles of music together with electrifying mammoth sets and no gimmicks. Its real music by real people. Catching up with their muse. Doing what they love. Striving to create a masterpiece.
Always exciting, always creative, flowing with the movement of the day. Life is the true spark that ignites the band. Jamhogs shows are never twice the same. Even when the Jamhogs choose to play a cover song it gets performed with an original Jamhog stamp, a humble tribute with respect to the artist.
The Hogs are:
Rick Schneider, lead vocals. Rick is the Music Director, DJ, and host of ‘Woodstock Jams” on WDST 100.1 FM in Woodstock, NY.
Darren Cohen, lead guitar. Darren is a former manager, promoter and booking agent; some of the artists Darren worked with include Phish, Moe., The Slip, and Soulive.
Don Zottarelli, bass guitar. Don recorded two nationally successful albums and toured throughout America with the contemporary Jazz group, Natural Element.
Sean Stoll, mandolin and guitar. Sean is the producer of the "Grey Barn Sessions" and founding member of the Beat Mechanics.
Bruce, drums. Bruce has just returned from a two year 'drums for peace' sabbatical in Alaska. He brings golden years of musical electricity to the band.
Kersti Cohen, vocals. Kersti is the heart and soul of the band. Her sweet voice colors the atmosphere with rainbows.
