Jami Beste and the Nobodies came together Halloween of 07.
Jami Beste is a singer/songwriter originally from Iowa and
California in the United States. She has toured all over the US
at venues such as The Roxy Lounge in Hollywood and
Lollapalooza tour 03.
The Nobodies are from Dorset, UK, originally consisting of to 2
childhood friends, Dennis Campbell on lead guitar, bass,
drums, synths, production and Ben Fryer on lead guitar.
Kieran O'Toole completing the line-up on bass; Jami Beste and
the Nobodies has emerged, as a new avant garde band with
layers of style and tone color, creating a dark, sensual sound
all their own.
Dennis Campbell started playing bass in bands when he was
13 and has moved onto lead guitar, drums and production and
writing. Jami Beste started performing for audience at only
age 4, when she became a classically trained vocalist and
pianist; music was always her passion. Jami Beste started
playing in bands at age 18, when she also taught herself to
play guitar. She went onto to focus as a solo acoustic,
singer/songwriter, and play in various bands before meeting
Dennis Campbell. His edgy, dark style instantly caught her ear;
she began writing lyrics and vocals to his songs.
Seemingly overnight, a new band has emerged, that not even
the Atlantic Ocean could stop. Through much travel, late
nights, strange time schedules, a new album has emerged to
be released, June of 08, accompanied by a UK/Europe/US
summer tour.
