The best kept secret in music

""Audiosyncracy" - KTEP-FM 88.5 (El Paso)"

"'My World' is 'The Best CD of 2004'!" - Jamey Osborne, Producer/Host

"Smooth Jazz Vibes"

"It's a long hard climb in the ultra competitive environment of smooth jazz guitar to get up there with those leading stars. With 'My World', Jamie Bonk is staking a claim to his very own place in the top flight." - Denis Poole

"Jamie Bonk's music is polished to a chromium luster with an electric charge that will energize you..." - RL Lannan, Reviewer

"Galaxie CBC Digital Radio"

"Wow, 'My World' is Jamie Bonk's best music yet - lively, colourful and sophisticated. This guitarist is so creative and instinctive, the long wait for this album has definitely been worth it." - Renée Gelpi

"I listen to Jamie Bonk for the same reason that I listen to classic albums like George Benson's Breezin' or Lee Ritenour's Captain Fingers. He plays from his soul - plain and simple! In doing so his music touches us deeply. Before 'My World' was released Jamie could do no wrong in my books and this being his best yet - well does it get any better? Enjoy the album trust me it'll stay with you for years." - John Beaudin

"New Age Retailer"

“Bonk's guitar playing has never been better…” - New Age Retailer

"Wind and Wire"

"Possessing one of the more recognizable guitar playing styles in adult contemporary music, Canada's Jamie Bonk is finally back with a new album, his third. 'My World' solidifies and reinforces Bonk's considerable talents as both a composer and a performer. His smooth fluid leads and dexterous fingering (on songs like the opening uptempo title track) are matched by his keen ear for layering his accompanists in amongst his acoustic guitar melodies. Keyboards, in particular, are a highpoint, whether the chugging organ of "My World," the slinky Fender Rhodes on the sly and mysterious "This Is It," or the occasional smooth-as-silk synth string textures on other selections. From the midtempo sway of "'73" to the peppy light jazz of "Looking In" to the darker moodiness of "What I Never Said," Bonk offers ample proof that he deserves a spot alongside other more well-known guitarists, such as Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, and Peter White. As he has done on his two previous efforts, Jamie Bonk presents a fresh (and refreshing) take on his unique mixture of smooth jazz with radio-accessible contemporary instrumental music. Here's hoping that 'My World' will finally break him out to an audience deserving of his excellent and highly enjoyable music." - Bill Binkelman

"I dare to say sensational." - Hans-Bernd Hülsmann

"Music For A New Age"

"I cannot express how delighted I am that Jamie Bonk is one of the rare talents I've heard who is getting the recognition he so richly deserves." - Fred Puhan

"Sunday Passages - WFWM-FM 91.9 (Frostburg)"

"Jamie Bonk's latest release, 'My World', is a marvelous mix of upbeat tracks that leave the listener smiling. The contemporary songs warm the heart. The combination of instrumentals and vocals make everyone who has the CD want to keep pushing the play button to hear it again and again. My World is both energizing and relaxing --- a must-have!"
- Tyra Phipps, Producer/Host
