There is nothing like a good song. That has always been my motto. The greats like Dylan and Cash knew this, and that is why their songs will be sung through the generations. I have tried my hardest to craft songs that I feel will impact people with the same grit and soul of the music I grew up hearing on my parents' turntable. There's not much to do growing up in South Arkansas except picking up your guitar every day and writing about what you hear and see. Writing has always been my main outlet. I suppose that is why at the heart of my songs there are always questions. From girls to God, I write what I care about and what I don't understand. I love folk-Americana music and so that is what I sound like.
