Bio

Jamie Dull: Biography and Passion..Catchy riffs, inspired solos, and descript lyrics providing insight into a life hard lived, Jamie Dull's music is the anthem for those that refuse to give up on grabbing their dream. Music has always been a very serious part of Jamie's life, and in a lot of times it was the only thing consistently there for him. While his solo work has always been a focus, the ill fate of the band in which he drummed for seven years, It Ends Here, and his leaving of the band Holy Heart Failure in 2005 pushed Jamie to focus specifically on his solo work. In an effort to make it all happen, Jamie just recently laid down the tracks for each instrument on his new CD, entitled "I Dont Think I Like This". Songs from the new CD can be listened to at Jamie's site Audiri.com and contain a variety of layered instruments including piano, mandolin, bass, saxophone, as well as his most experienced instruments guitar and drums. While the variety of instruments on his albums seems to expand with each release, tremendous improvements can be heard both vocally and theoretically. If you get to see Jamie perform, pay special attention to such hits as "My Clear Gold", "Only Chips 'N' Sparkles", "Faded Out", "Storm", and "Abstract Pieces of Me". These songs collectively embody what Jamie's music has to offer in both a light hearted or seriously introspective approach to song writing. Jamie has nothing to hide, and though he's only started pushing his solo music within the last four years, he is booking dates all over Ohio, and will be in Phoenix, Arizona. You can catch tracks from his previous three albums titled: Blue Forest, Carved, and A Way To Clear Your Mind, all on his websites, as well as snag copies of them at his shows. While his songs work on their own, hes better to see live, and his lyrics will certainly put you in an introspective mood. ~Nick Consolo: Co-owner of Imminent Threat Records

Jamie now resides in Phoenix Arizona.

Quick Breakdown - My live shows contain energy, charisma, and tons of instrumentalism. Combining good solid guitar rock with catchy lyrics and a true voice makes for one "real" artist, which those can be hard to find. Any opportunity I can get, I'll go after. Hope to hear from you.
