jamie grew up in a small inland coastal town of kempsey,on the mid north coast of australia,as a child jamie was raised in the infamous housing projects in north street(the little bronx).mainly with local indigineous people from the Dunghutti Nation.His passion for nature and music are instinctive,naturally graviting in those directions.
His great half uncle,the late slim dusty(australian country music legend)he never met,had heard many stories from his grandmother(mary kyle/hudson) about those days,when they were next door neighbour's up at nulla nulla creek.
" i never felt at home in either community,where i grew up,felt more at home in the wild beauty and silence of the place..
i guess this is a constant thread through out my life in how i see the world and my inner one,and why i feel the need to travel away for long periods of time..
The promise i have made to myself,is to create music that will be here well after i have left,to send a message,am still walking on this road,and have a long way to go.."
