"Trolley Stop"

"A full dance floor, some groovy tunes and anyone who was there could testify - they tore it up. It was a very diverse set list featuring originals as well as vigorously performed covers. It wasn't long before pretty much everyone was up and cutting a rug, and all involved worked up a righteous sweat. The musicianship was excellent across the board actually. You could tell these players were friends. If they ever want to get it together again I'm all for it. A superior job by one and all. Way to go dudes."

Bio

The Jamwave ship set sail in November 2008. The paths of these four musicians became intertwined as they struggled to escape the cornfield labyrinth of Ada, Ohio, where they pursued four different professional careers at Ohio Northern University. Their self-titled EP was recorded here on a frigid evening in December of 2008. The Wave hit the road in 2009, crashing down on Columbus, Akron, Dayton, Cincinnati, and most recently, a California beach tour featuring two shows in Venice and Hermosa Beach.

Since then, guitarist and lead vocalist Joseph Alex Meyer has called upon his crewmates to brave the adventurous waters of the Cincinnati music scene, where the band is currently docked. Jamwave has begun writing and recording new tracks to round out their first full length LP.
