Since our inception in 1988, JAMXBAND has been jammin’ a unique and exciting blend of high energy Reggae, Ska, Calypso and Caribbean roots music that has kept audiences, large and small, corporate and private yearning for more year after year.
Our Performers and Musicians have shared stages with many of the world's biggest Caribbean Artists including Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Shinehead, Arrow, Sparrow and Harry Belafonte.
JAMXBAND’S success however is also in great part due to the participation and great dedication of the talented and professional musicians and performers, past and present, who give JAM-X that artistic edge when we hit stages throughout the USA, Canada and Caribbean. JAMXBAND members are from various Caribbean countries including Jamaica, Trinidad, Cuba, St.Vincent, Barbados and the USA.
In our 20th year we are integrating the merging genres of Reggae-Dance hall, Hip Hop, Soca,R&B and Funk to take our musical appeal to a level that is attracting younger listeners as well as traditional old school fans.
Our first Steel Drum (Pan) CD "DO IT CARIBBEAN" along with our
now Classic debut CD, ‘JAMXBAND LIVE’, a potpourri of original and cover songs, is a must for Caribbean music connoisseurs of all ages.
