We currently have three demo tracks streaming on Myspace, and Soundcloud. We will be recording some new material at ALT studios (Brighton) at the end of March.

Our music is heavily influenced by Motown, and the girl groups of the 60s/70s.It originally began as a solo project for lead singer Sophie. Having studied the life of Berry Gordy and the formation of Motown for her core module at Brighton Institute of Modern Music, she became hooked on the music that the label was associated with, and this was soon reflected in her style of songwriting.
All of the current line up are students at BIMM, we all share a determination and motivation that is evident in our chemistry as a band.
One thing that has been highly praised about our music is the frivolity, and tongue in cheek humour, along with the 'supremes-esque' vocal harmonies.
Although we are a reasonably new band we are continuously working to increase our fan base, and get the name 'Jane Doe & the Undesirables' heard. Performing a massive gig like this in our home town would be the perfect precipice...once we are on the other side, we will just keep rolling! :)
