Bio
In eight short months, the band has risen from being relatively anonymous to becoming a household name in the area. The band just recently played CPR Fest XIII with 3 Doors Down, Hinder, Candlebox and Drowning Pool and Hed(PE). They got the gig by winning 97.9 WCPR's "Battle for the Big Stage" Competition. The band also won 103.7 The Fox's "Rock War III" earlier this year in Hattiesburg. The group came to the local music scene out of nowhere last fall and quickly established themselves as a hard-rocking (and hard-partying) presence to be reckoned with.
Jane Doe's Dead(Chris Noble - bass, Kevin Gordon - drums, Yancey Yeatts - guitar, Josh Gillie - vocals), as with most great bands, lets the music do the talking for them. Listen to the tracks like "Ego Star" and Broke You In" for proof. They just released their self-titled, debut album in mid-June. The rowdy band of veteran South Mississippi musicians and the full length album are recieving a ton of attention, on both a local and regional level. Expect to hear alot more from these guys in the near and distant future.
