Jane Lane

Jane Lane

BandRockPop

Jane Lane is...artistic, intelligent, creative, clever, witty, sarcastic, observant, inventive, sexy, unconventional, anti-authoritarian, far beyond the ordinary... and one of the hottest up and coming indie folk/pop/punk/rock bands ever to hit the Denver music scene!

Biography

Taking a page from bands like Cursive, Tokyo Police Club, Rilo Kiley, and Manchester Orchestra, Jane Lane serves up an eclectic mix of violin, high voltage guitar, keyboards, electronics, and percussion in its own unique brand of kick ass. Both in the recording studio and in live performance, with Jane Lane, art is happening. NOW. Playful, dangerous, and engaging. And everyone is invited to the party!

Formerly hailing from New Mexico as Sudden Epidemic, and sharing the stage with bands including Vampire Weekend, Finest Hour, and the Capricorns, Jane Lane cites musical influences across a broad spectrum including Death Cab for Cutie, Blink 182, Fugazi, and the Rolling Stones. The band’s debut EP, "Stories", is out now.
