I have been singing since I can remember. As a child, music and singing just came naturally to me. At the age of 13, I taught myself to play guitar, and the flood gates were opened! I immediately began writing songs. They just kept coming to me. I began performing at church, school and in talent shows and continued performing throughout high school and college.

What sets me apart is great songwriting. You have nothing if you don't have well-written songs. I try my hardest to write songs that relate to people, that strike a chord with people, and that are also catchy, memorable and fun.

So many bands have influenced my music! The Beatles for their song structures, chord progressions, melodies and hooks. Jars of Clay for their production and instrumentation. Ray Charles for his soul. Hanson, Coldplay...the list goes on.
