"The Voice Recap"

JOHN LEGEND: “You have a ridiculously cool tone.”

BLAKE SHELTON: “That gravely, natural rock voice you have is so cool." - Sounds Like Nashville

"San Franciscan Rocker Can't Get No Satisfaction on The Voice"

Twenty-two-year-old Jared Harper from San Francisco decided on “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” from The Rolling Stones for his The Voice blind audition. Accompanied by his own guitar, the artist presented a consistently strong performance with glimpses of greatness.

The coaches were caught up by the rhythm of this catchy classic from the very start. Jared’s voice had that special quality that keeps you hooked on the melody, hanging on from bar to bar. From rasp to range, this artist seemed to have it all, but the coaches just weren’t convinced. Despite a consistently strong vocal performance with a distinctive style, Jared walked away without a chair turned.

With a natural rock tone and great energy, Jared Harper tried his best on a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” for his season eighteen blind audition. The singer from San Francisco seemed to have the coaches won over with his upbeat showing of talent, but their enthusiastic background support didn’t mean he’d turn a chair. - Madly Odd

"‘The Voice’ Blind Auditions Night 4"

Jared Harper, a 22-year old from San Francisco who taught himself to play guitar. He’s deaf in one ear, which may seem like a disability but tell that to Season 16 winner Maelyn Jarmon. Tonight Jared is singing “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and he’s got a cool, pop/rock voice with just enough grit to give this song the funk it needs. - Gold Derby

Jared Harper is an acoustic-style singer-songwriter born and raised in San Francisco. Having racked up over half a million views on YouTube following his time on Season 18 of The Voice, Jared Harper is an upcoming singer-songwriter you do not want to sleep on. Bringing a fresh yet familiar sound to the stage, his influence behind his lyrics are driven from everyday life. The spark of his songwriting stems from the early days of modern music during the 50s, 60s, and 70s from the lines written by Lennon and McCartney to the anthems by Oasis and The Strokes.

Now having explored and refined his talents, he is bringing his old school with a new school effortless twist to the stage. In the style of Indie/Active-Rock (but not exclusive to), he creates pieces of work that the audience can relate to. Jared has taken time to refine his sound since his initial EP “If I’m Being Honest” released back in 2018. He is back and better than ever with a arsenal of new songs set to release, starting with a new single debuting on October 10 and a music video on October 24.
