Indie artist Jared Dylan is a singer bringing refreshingly raw talent to the game. The New Jersey native may only be 16, but he has already released an alternative sound many seasoned artists do not possess. With a guitar in tow, Jared sticks to being a classic artist with boyish charm and concerns of his generation. His latest single “Let It All Out” is a cry to get your worries and problems off your chest. It’s a modern-day Tears of Fears theme from their 80's hit where they belted “Shout, Let It All Out” on their single “Shout.” His voice is reminiscent of a younger Simply Red at first hearing him, but his East coast swag takes control soon enough. Jared has an alternative flow no doubt, but very soulful for his mature demeanor. The young crooner’s love for music began at an early age of 11, but his professional career did not take off until earlier this year. Though he’s a new breed to the music scene, he has already performed at venues in different cities. The in-demand artist has a career that looks promising with shows lined up. It’s only a matter of time before the world hears his incredible voice and guitar-playing to know he’s definitely a hot artist to look check for. Jared Dylan (Born September 7, 1994) is an American alternative rock/pop singer-songwriter, artist, and musician known for his strong lyrics and his work in the soft rock and acoustic genres. He is also known for conceiving and organizing the first “inclusive” rock and roll band for www.pathwayskids.org
Dylan was born and raised in New Jersey. His artistic talent was evident at a very young age – he is a prolific songwriter and passionate vocalist. Jared has worked with and performed with major rock icons such as Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad), Joey Molland (Badfinger), and Kip Winger (Alice Cooper/Winger). By age 16 Jared had completed more than 25 modern American music and classical compositions.
His EP "In Panic", released in April 2012, is produced by multi-platinum producer Anthony J. Resta. It is currently Available on Pandora.
Jared has been named a 2011 and 2012 Band "On the Verge" by Aquarian Weekly Magazine. His song "Ready, Set, Stun" was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. Dylan was a cast member on Season 3 of NBC's "The Voice".
Jared currently studies at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music where he participates in the highly competitive Bruce Hornsby Contemporary American Songwriting Program.
His music has been licensed to numerous television programs.
