Fun folk that's been dragged through the dirt. An eclectic mix of Americana, pop, country and soul with hints of gospel.
Jared Goode was raised in woodsy Southern Oregon in the midst of the fall of the timber industry in the early 1990's. The title track of his first EP, "Timber!" reflects on that time with the spirited, toe-tapping style commonly found in Goode's upbeat material. His upcoming EP "An EP Without Dignity" is inspired by the effects of the struggling economy on his current place of residence, Las Vegas. A full length album, "In These Dark Woods," produced by Jose Ayerve (Spouse) is slated for release in early 2011.
Band members ("The Goods") are the multi-talented musician Andrea Alseri and golden-voiced Bryan Sandlin. Zonya Love, star of "The Color Purple" on Broadway, contributes regularly as a vocalist on recordings.
