Bio
Honing his chops at venues all around the northeast, Jared Salvatore has been a mainstay in the Boston music scene since the late 90's, playing in funk, jazz, and rock bands before launching his solo career.
A stint at Berklee College of Music enhanced Salvatore's resume, as he graduated with a degree in songwriting while winning many accolades from the songwriting department, including three performances at the bi-annual Songwriters Showcase and winning the ear of guest artist and Grammy Award-winner Kathy Mattea with a co-write that would be recorded and engineered by fellow Grammy Award-winners George Massenburg and Eliot Scheiner.
Fresh off recording his second solo album, Compass Out, Salvatore is slated for Spring 2012 releases in Boston and New York City, with a tour to follow.
In addition to his solo career, Jared has a diverse co-writing portfolio, having penned songs with many local and national artists.
