Lyrics

Scars on My Guitar

Written By: Jarryd Scott

I've got so many scars on my guitar
I can't see my face
There's a shadow
Trying to take my place
Yeah, you know me
It's hard to see where I'm going
'Cause I don't know

All of my life has been changed and rearranged
So I don't recognize it
Strange is the day that took yesterday away
And know I realize it

So if my memories were like my photographs
Then I would not see times that I'd like to be forgotten
I do not take photographs of the saddest of sad scenes

All of my life has been changed and rearranged
So I don't recognize it
Strange is the day that took yesterday away
And know I realize it

Hang my past on the wall
Pictures and pages
Inbetween cracks inside my brain
Like twisted string
I lose myself
In pictures and pages

I am scared
That I'm going to be erased
There are times I wonder
Who will take my place
I'm awake after hours
In the dark
I still wait
For the morning sparks

I've got so many scars on my guitar
I can't see my face
