Bio

Jarvis Damien Jacob born on December 11, 1987, the oldest child to Gurvis and Lydia Jacob in Lake Charles, Louisiana. I have a 15 year old younger brother named Joel.

I am a 2006 graduate of Lake Charles-Boston High School, I am now a Sophomore in College at (ULL) University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Yes, I was raised in the Baptist Church, sang in the church choir since the age of three. I really came into my voice with the help of Mr. Don McZeal (I call him my own personal musician) he always played for me when I had to go sing somewhere. Being that he is a professional with a Masters in Music Education he was able to train my voice early in life. When I entered high school I joined the Lake Charles-Boston High School Choir under the direction of Mrs. Belinda Williams, we sang all types of music, and won all types of music awards.

When I went to college at ULL, I met Lee Urqahart, he made beats, I wrote and sang so we put our heads and our talents together and we started working on this CD; IN THE STUDIO. My single: “Pass Me Sum Water” has been #1 on the local radio station in Lake Charles KZWA.

My Dream is to keep singing and singing and singing. I believe that I’m headed straight to the top of the charts because it is my destiny. Singing is my passion, its what I truly believe God put me in this world to do and since I believe it, I know I can achieve it.
