Fresh off the single dropped exclusively for “MadBliss’s” latest album “Unwxnted” Jarvis Hodges looks to take the single to the next level with the official music video for the single. The Song was already fire. I listen to the track a lot already. The video looks to spice things up a bit with a simplistic approach to shooting the video, but at the same time it’s eye catching. Jarvis Hodges first caught my attention when I discovered he had used a beat made by one of my favorite producers, IAMNOBODI. I checked out the track and I instantly was just like, “Damn. I fuck with this.” The other day, he dropped another track that was a bonus track off a project by MadBliss, titled “Unwxnted”. In honor of Pimp C, he titled this new joint Chad Butler. Jarvis Hodges is quickly becoming one of the fastest rising stars in the DFW. His storytelling lyricism mixed with laid-back delivery demonstrates the authenticity of the emerging chill-trap genre perfectly. Since launching his career in 2012, Jarvis Hodges has been featured on two of the biggest urban stations in the country 97.9 The Beat and K104, as well as touring as the opening act for RaiderKlan in 2013. The Jackson, Mississippi native, has amassed over 120,000 streams on Soundcloud, as well as boosting close to 15,000 views on YouTube. At the top of 2014, Hodges released the single “Numbers Don’t Lie”, which proved just that when it yielded over 20,000 in less than 2 months. Hodges is in the midst of expanding his brand with collaborations in the works with some of the biggest artist in the DVM, as well as working on his debut album.
