"Gods of Music.com"

..."Jase creates a lot of mood and atmosphere that reminds me - musically - of Cohen and Cave's stronger works.....a very good song".....Larime Taylor, Gods of Music.com on reviewing "The Wings of the Phantom"
- Larime Taylor

"V-MIX Adult Hits Radio"

"Whispers Of Love is a song that rings with both accessibility and credibility. Finally, an independent artist that can stand up alongside the majors. In his short time on our playlist, Jase is already beating established hits by the likes of Jewel, Matchbox Twenty and John Mayer." - Andy Reich, Program Director

"The Bottom Floor Concert Series, Baltimore, MD"

..."Jase gives a powerful performance -- with stunning vocals and well-crafted songs, he's the only cameo performer at The Bottom Floor Concert Series to ever receive an encore!"...... - Joanne Juskus

Since 1998, Jase has performed on the Baltimore circuit in such venues as The Vault, the 8 x 10 Club, Paloma's, The Bottom Floor Concert Series, and in Baltimore’s Fell’s Point area. In 2002, Jase connected with artist and producer Brad Allen to record a 4-song EP. Allen, (who has performed and recorded with the likes of Scott Garrett of the Cult and Oteil Burbridge of the Allman Brothers) says, “Jase is an incredible singer and songwriter, probably one of the most convincing raw talents I’ve ever seen!”

Jase decided to post early, unfinished versions of his songs on both MP3.com and Garageband.com for local fans, and they quickly became favorites of internet listeners, moving to Garageband’s Pop Top 10 for over 6 weeks and MP3.com’s Top 40 in the world-wide Adult Alternative charts.

Jase’s interesting and dramatic blend of music styles comes from a life of living on the road as a kid with a father whose character could have come straight from a Jack Kerouac novel! Constantly exposed to different people, music, and sometimes strange and adverse conditions, Jase traveled frequently as a child, moving up and down the Eastern seaboard from Maryland to the Florida Keys while his father searched for steady employment.

Jase’s father was a fisherman, painter, and general “wildman” that had a voracious appetite for music and made no bones about sharing it with his son. Wild and wooly characters abound along with a crazy mix of concerts, bluegrass festivals, and late night parties spent with hippies, South FL Cuban immigrants, and rock bands thrown in to boot! At age 11, while waiting for his father to fix the broken down van outside in the sweltering heat, Jase very graciously played harmonica for patrons in a roadside bar during Florida’s notorious Daytona Bike Week, earning his first $25 dollars in tips!!

Looking to expand his audience and having finished a 4-song EP, Jase has assembled a backing band and is planning a regional tour in 2003.*
