The "Wings Of The Phantom" EP belongs on the must-listen list of any serious collector of contemporary singer/songwriters. As difficult as it is for breaking artists to get airplay, I would suggest that with this CD Jase delivers a sound and a style that grows with each listen-something that you just can't say about a lot of what is being popularized on today's airwaves. My recommendation is more Jase, less noise. JDS, for SOSA Magazine.<br> - David Sawyer

Bio
"Finally, an independent artist that can stand up alongside the majors," says Andrew Reich, program director for V-MIX Adult Hits Internet Radio, of contemporary singer-songwriter, Jase. With stunning vocal power and range, Jase's music packs raw emotion and heartfelt honesty. Drawing comparisons to Elton John, Rob Thomas, John Fogerty and Harry Chapin, Jase's soulfully crafted lyrics and edgy sweet sound combine his Rock, Pop and Folk influences into an unmistakable original sound.
With the 2003 release of his highly acclaimed EP, "The Wings of the Phantom", Jase has built an impressive list of credentials, including a #1 hit on the Internet's third largest adult contemporary radio station, a #1 spot on the UK's Mp3Songs Top 100 Unsigned Artist Chart, Pop Top 10 on Garageband.com's A&R Site, Top 40 on MP3.com, Finalist in the Windrift Music 2003 International Song Competition, as well as 3 Billboard Magazine Songwriting Awards.
Hailed as "solid and dramatic with strong lyrical content" by Music Monthly, and praised as "incredible" by Erica Tompkins of BMI New York, Jase's music has quickly climbed the Internet radio charts, surpassing the popularity of major label acts such as Jewel, Matchbox Twenty and John Mayer. Produced by virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Brad Allen, who produced the critically-acclaimed self-titled debut album by Joanne Juskus, "The Wings of the Phantom" showcases Jase's talent as a gifted songwriter and master storyteller.
Raised by a father whose character could have come straight out of a Jack Kerouac novel, Jase's colorful life has contributed richly to his influences. Often on the road with his father, traveling from bluegrass festivals to late night hippie parties and the like, Jase's world was inhabited by wild and wooly characters and outrageous situations which have found their way into his unique sound. Based in Baltimore by way of South Florida, Jase's performances deliver a powerful punch, whether playing solo with acoustic guitar or fronting his band of rockers, who are gearing up for an east coast tour in 2004.
