Jasic Bio
Born in Compton, CA, "Jasic" spent his younger years revealing his vocal talent in venues ranging from the church choir loft to lighted stages in local music events. With his mother by his side offering encouragement to persevere, Jasic was writing his own lyrics at age 11, and by the age of 17, he began composing music. His family moved to Texas and Jasic eventually settled in Austin, the Live Music Capital of the World. Today, Jasic is multifaceted in the world of musical talent. Miles Davis, Marvin Gay, Quincy Jones, and Al Green are just a few of the many gifted artists who have inspired Jasic along his path to musical success. As a singer, songwriter, vocal arranger, and producer, Jasic has mused his generation with a variety of sounds in many genres, including R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop. As a young entrepreneur, Jasic established Liquid Tracks Music Productions and developed Liquid Tracks Music Group, an independent recording company, for which he currently serves as CEO. In 2010, Jasic was recognized as R&B Singer of the Year by the Austin Music Awards. His music has been featured on MTV's Sweet Sixteen and True Life. Jasic received his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Huston-Tillotson University and is currently enrolled at Lamar University, where he is pursuing a Master's degree in Technology Leadership. He has worked for Austin radio station KAZI FM 88.7 as a radio announcer and has interned for multi-platinum Carnival Beats Entertainment as a management and marketing correspondence assistant. Jasic was recently invited to perform at the Model and Music Summit presented by the Texas Music Summer Conference in Dallas, TX during Super Bowl XLV weekend and moved the audience with his performance. Jasic is currently working on a mixtape that is scheduled to drop this summer and his upcoming album “Can You Relate” will be debuting this Fall.
