Jasin Boggs

Jasin Boggs

Sounds like Johnny Cash in a band with an unplugged Alice In Chains.

Jasin Boggs started out on the thriving Carolina underground metal scene at the age of 13. He is best know as the frontman for the band "Black Tar Solitude". He has played with such scene heavies as Rebel, SouthernCross, Thousand Year Riegn, and Jugernaut. After moving to Athens, Ga in 2006, he began experimenting with an acoustic guitar. Pulling from such influences as Alice In Chains, Johnny Cash, and The Allman Brothers, he has produced a uniquely atmospheric mix that can only be described as "acoustic southern-grunge".

Jasin is currently in the studio recording his debut LP "Take A Backseat". It is set to be ready by August 1st 2008.
