This is a very well written contemporary song.  The melody is solid and flows well from the verse thru the chorus.  I like the intensity that you bring to your delivery too.  You sound like a lead singer!

You've got a great image and a strong vocal presence.  I hope you get the chance to show off your skills in front of live audiences.  This would sound great in clubs!

The first time I saw Jasmine Jai it was sheer coincidence. Brandishing the mike at one of the now defunct Black Lily nights, Jai's spindly-leg confidence and sideline-watching mother betrayed the heartbroken, timeworn woman trapped in her teenage heart. Within 30 seconds of her lips parting, it felt like my knees hit the floor. Searing, rounded and somewhat disabling, Jai's vocal range was a jackhammer aimed straight at the audience's short attention span. Two years later and still in her teens, Jai's secured only what's due--a recording contract, a hit single "Be Easy" and a well-regarded place as a hometown favorite. Given the unfortunate radio R&B philosophy of sink or slut, it would be wise to catch Jai on the upswing. Something this big won't be contained for much longer. (S.V.)

Even without air-play, Jasmine's EP, "Be Easy", has made it to #59 for Single R&B sales in the February 15, 2003 edition of Billboard Magazine! Not too bad for an indie!
