Biography for Jasmine June
Jasmine June is a new, young, fresh faced female singer-songwriter. She is a classically and contemporary trained vocalist and writes and arranges her own material. Jasmine June has a beautiful sweet vocal tonality all of her own which makes this young lady really unique, her clean crisp dance-pop with catchy melodies are what the pop world is waiting for and being written from the heart makes her songs even more alluring.
Being the noisiest child of four (her siblings really will confirm this!) it was a natural path of singing and performing for Jasmine June, she likes to impart in her lyrics and arrangements the many facets to her personality and style. Speaking to Jasmine June she recently quotes
“Singing is one of the most beautiful things a human can do, the voice is an intriguing and amazing instrument, you can do virtually anything with it; to be able to touch someone with your voice and your words and music means so much, whether it is a heart felt moment from my lyrics or getting someone’s feet moving on the dance floor….the greatest thing about making music is the creative process, from waking up with a melody in your head, to a finished track, and then, you get to perform your own song which really is an awesome feeling.”
With this her self penned material takes you into the world of Jasmine June where you can hear her many eclectic influences, from the ethereal and chilled sounds of
Cafe del Mar to; Madonna, Daft Punk, George Michael, Quincy Jones and the classic Doris Day.
