Bio

“My heart is unstable, will you able to save me?” Many would agree that her voice is unforgettable and her presence is captivating to watch. Born and raised in the heart of Alberta, Jasmine Singh has been conquering Edmonton’s pop music scene for the last couple years. Her musical training started at the age of seven. Since then, Jasmine has worked the show circuit, while training in the art of voice, dance and acting. “Music is everything I need” she admits.

She was chosen as Edmonton’s “Hot Factor” artist by Edmonton station Hot 107.1 and was given the chance to open up Canadian music pop icons Dragonette and My Name is Kay. From fashions shows to festivals, Jasmine has taken many stages, wowing the crowds with her rhythmic guitar playing and her savvy dance numbers. She mimics the essence of pop star anytime she hits the stage.

Canadian music dj’s Get Recked released their first single “Save Me” last year, lyrics written and performed by Jasmine herself. The song gained much attention and landed regular rotation popular radio stations all across Canada. This led to more collaboration with the group. Another club/dance single “I Wanna Know” was released earlier this year, impressing yet again Canadian fans. “I share a great love for EDM, and working with Get Recked on their tracks allows me to experiment as a songwriter and have fun.” It was announced early last year that because of such successful working chemistry with Get Recked, they will be the official production team for her upcoming EP .Her debut power pop single “Whatcha Gonna Do” is currently making its way to national radio stations, with a music video to be release later this fall and an EP is to be released early next year.
